In the long wait for the arrival of "Elder Scrolls 6," fans have taken to putting their ears close to the rumor mill and/or the horse's mouth just to get wind of the latest updates about the game.

Recently, there has been speculation over the title featuring a multiplayer mode. Fans of Bethesda's games know very well the company has not inserted a multiplayer mode in any of its releases, due to a number of disadvantages. However, Gaming Bolt's Pramath countered that perhaps it's time that Bethesda get into it, considering there are ways to work around those deficits.

"The arguments against having multiplayer modes of any kind are well documented: they take away resources that could go into making the single player mode even better, they are unnecessary and dilute the game's focus, they are often shoehorned and compromise the game's single player campaign," Pramath enumerated.

"But could Bethesda make it work? I certainly think there is a chance that they could, and it wouldn't require much reworking of their single player framework either," he continued. "I see a form of co-op gameplay, featuring high level quests that function a bit like raids, with high leveled monsters at the end."

"Defeating these monsters and completing these quests gains participating players access to high level gear and loot that is otherwise harder to achieve in the single player mode (although still perfectly possible)," he suggested.
Do you agree to what he said?

Well, thing is, the real question is whether "TES VI" will ever be released. Apparently, Bethesda's VP for PR and marketing kept getting this kind of question, albeit he referred to the sequel as "Skyrim 2," sparking another round of speculations whether the next game would be a part two.

"It's rare to have franchises like the ones we have and to have people joking about 'when is Skyrim 2 coming out?' Hines told The Telegraph. "The reason they say that is because generally speaking that's what you'd be getting with another publisher in charge."

"They'd be spitting out a Skyrim 2 the year after or two years later. That's just not how we view it. We're not the sort of publisher that focuses on 'what's our 25 titles for 2015'," he said.

"We do smaller stuff, we don't publish to scale, we try to publish to quality," he continued. "Make sure everything we do is noteworthy."

"Our approach to that hasn't differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck to who we are," he added.

While no definite confirmation has been made over the release of "TES VI" or "Skyrim 2," it's been reported that it will take a long while before a sequel is released. CrossMap estimated 2018 would probably the earliest release timeframe for the game.
