Fans of "No Man's Sky" are expecting that the official release date and retail price of the game will be revealed at Paris Games Week. Gamers thought that they would get more details from game developer Sean Murray but he did not specify an exact date.

Yibada wrote that although game publisher Hello Games presented several gameplay footage of "No Man's Sky" at the New Yorkers Festival early in October 2015, no official launch date has been announced yet. "No Man's Sky" is a sci-fi adventure survival game playable on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Game leakster Tidux wrote on Twitter that Hello Games will appear at the Paris Games Week press conference on Oct. 27, 2015. Players are expecting that the launch date and price details of "No Man's Sky" will finally be included. Although Tidux has a history of getting the retail price on other games right, people should take the update with a grain of salt until Hello Games makes an official announcement.

There were rumors that the game will launch together with the Project Morpheus/PlayStation VR headset in 2016. There were also talks that the game will retail at around $60, with PlayStation Plus subscribers receiving a special discount price, based on a report by Design&Trend.

Steam stated that "No Man's Sky" features adventures and elements that players love from classic science fiction. Gamers get to explore over 18 quintillion planets across several galaxies and will discover several mysterious landscapes, resources and alien beings. They can use these to upgrade their ship, weapons and stats. It is a an ideal game for players who are fond of exploring open worlds and customizing.

Hello Games is a U.K. game studio so it is highly expected that they will participate at Paris Games Week. Sony officials previously stated that they intend to use the event to focus on the European creators of the company, based on the same Yibada report. Gamers should expect developers like Quantic Dream and Media Molecule to attend the event as well. Design&Trend also revealed that the game will be at the GameCity Festival in U.K. on Oct. 24, 2015. Push Square stated that Sony might opt for a sudden launch for the game if there will be no release date details at either event.

"No Man's Sky" will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in 2016. More details and updates on the game are expected in the coming weeks.
