From the same author who gave the world "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", Seth Grahame-Smith, comes another famous story with a horror twist.

The newest film that will be based on Grahame-Smith's work will be based on "Pride and Prejudice: Zombies", which will be seeing the big screen soon as Lionsgate has released the UK Trailer for the film.

The synopsis for the film starts out pretty simple enough with the film's female lead, Elizabeth Bennet (played by Lily James), stating that to succeed in polite society, one must be many things: kind, well read and accomplished. The trailer then takes a horror turn as Bennet states that to survive in the this world, she will need "other" qualities.

Deadline reports the movie will follow the Bennet sisters, Elizabeth (Lily James), Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote) and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) as they attempt to take on the social pressures of 19th century England while they fight off the undead horde that ravage the countryside. The sisters will also be joined by "Game of Thrones" star Lena Headey, who has been known to wield a weapon or two in her day as well. Currently, there is no news on what character Headey will be playing.

But what is a Jane Austen movie without the men the ladies not only swoon for, but often fight over? Matt Smith of "Doctor Who" fame will be playing Mr. Collins, while Sam Riley (Maleficent) will be portraying Mr. Darcy. Douglas Booth (Great Expectations) has also been confirmed to be playing Mr. Bingley. It was not seen in the trailer if the men will be joining the women in the slaying of the zombies.

It will be interesting to see how the combination of the two ends of the spectrum, the higher society and zombie slaying, meld together. In the trailer, the ladies do seem to not only enjoy the violence but revel in it. Some may say that the movie may bring some new life into a Jane Austen story that has been done so many times.

While "Pride and Prejudice: Zombies" has several producers attached to it, one name did stick out: that of Natalie Portman. The Oscar Award-winning actress will be strictly staying in a producer role, however, with no acting parts confirmed in the movie.

Currently, the movie is set for a Feb. 5, 2016 release worldwide.
