ABC Family has reportedly started shooting its newest drama 'Terminales' in Davis Square near Boston, Massachusetts. Reports appeared in a Live Journal update on Saturday and were later confirmed by Boston.com's Facebook page.

The upcoming drama, which features Italia Ricci and veteran soap actress Mary Page Keller, is based on a Mexican drama by Televisa, the Massachusetts Film Office announced in October. The one-hour 'Terminales' will focus on the life of April (Italia Ricci), who is diagnosed with a terminal illness, her mother Sara (Mary Page Keller) and her teenage sister, Brenna.

The Hollywood Reporter stated that Keller's character is "described as being charmingly neurotic and typically incapable of finishing a sentence, who, thanks to April's advice, begins to re-enter the dating world despite the fact that her own mother lives with them."

According to the Live Journal entry, the show was scheduled to film at indoor locations in Davis Square on Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. Some parking restrictions were in place as well as vehicle travel restrictions on Highland Ave. onto Elm Street.

In October, the Massachusetts Film Office announced that the show, produced by Lionsgate and Televisa for ABC Family, would be filmed entirely in the Bay State. The new drama will count on Aaron Kaplan ('GCB', 'Terra Nova'), Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz as its executive producers.
