Long before being known for his acting roles in hit movies such as "Men In Black," "Hitch" and "Independence Day," Will Smith first dabbed his hands in hip-hop. After 10 years of absence in the music scene, the Grammy-winning rapper returned to his roots and surprised fans when he appeared on a remix of Bomba Estereo's track, "Fiesta," according to a report from the Associated Press.

Released digitally on Friday, "Fiesta" indicates the 47-year-old actor's rebirth in music after his last album, "Lost and Found," in 2005. Some of his famous hits are "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," ''Miami," ''Wild Wild West" and "Snatch."

In the track, Smith showcases his stellar rapping skills through crisp Spanish and English verses. The Oscar Award-winning actor never misses a word while beat-heavy tunes elicit a some dancing and booty shaking. As E! Online puts it, "You can't not get jiggy with this. It's actually impossible." The news outlet also commended Smith's decision in dropping this party track "just in time for the weekend."

According to a report from The Guardian, Smith discovered Bomba Estreo during a trip in Colombia. The "Suicide Squad" star then contacted the band for a collaboration.

"When I was told that Will Smith wanted to collaborate on a remix with Bomba, I couldn't believe it. This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of. ... It's just magic," said band founder and multi-instrumentalist Simon Mejia to the Associated Press.

The Colombia-based group, famous for their tropical electro sound, consists of Liliana Saumet (vocals), Mejía (bass and synth), Julián Salazar (guitar and machines) and Andrés Zea (drums), as per the group's official Facebook page. Associated Press also notes that since their formation in 2005, the group has toured the festival circuit, performing at Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza.

The future seems bright for Bomba Estreo as they have received two nominations to the Latin Grammy Award: record of the year for their hit song "Fiesta" and best alternative music album for "Amanecer."

Upon hearing the announcement, Smith congratulated the group by posting a selfie of him with the four-man act on Facebook, saying, "Felicidades to BOMBA ESTEREO on their Latin Grammy Nominations!"
