If you answer no, how can you explain those speculations about singer Diana Ross being pregnant? Could it be down to her youthful looks?

An Instagram snap of the enduring artist showed a noticeable bump that looks very similar to those on expectant mothers.

"The 71-year-old singer was pictured at a local organic grocery market in Los Angeles Tuesday sporting a fuller shape," International Business Times noted. "Not surprisingly, some netizens started saying she looked pregnant."

"The Motown hitmaker was dressed all in black, wearing a cardigan over a t-shirt and leggings," MailOnline described. "She had a pair of black flats on her feet and carried her cell phone and wallet in her hand as she walked to her car."

"The I'm Coming Out performer drove herself to the market for her solo shopping outing," the publication added.

Soon after the speculations began, Gossip Cop swooped in and debunked them by saying that the singer is in no way pregnant.

"Diana Ross is NOT pregnant, despite a Twitter rumor that began to trend after a photo emerged of the 71-year-old singer's belly appearing to have a baby bump.," the site said. "Despite the pregnancy theories, Ross is not with child, but rather just a victim of an unflattering photo that accentuates her weight gain."

"In fact, if Ross really were pregnant then she has just pulled off the amazing feat of taking the title for world's oldest pregnant woman," the entertainment news portal went on. "However, the true record holder is a woman from India named Rajo Devi Lohan, who conceived a child at 70. But no, Ross will not be taking that honor away from Lohan."

So, a 70-year-old woman can indeed bear a child. And Ross is apparently not that.

This wrong assumption may just be one of those things where an unflattering belly bump, especially those encouraged by an indulgent lifestyle, has been mistaken for a pregnancy bump. Or even a hint of belly, as was the case with Jennifer Aniston back in 2013.

"Baby watch speculation for Jennifer Aniston started again when she wore a form fitting dress to her movie premiere that showed of her curvy belly," RadarOnline said.

Aniston addressed the speculation by saying that the bump was "just a couple of lbs."

The ultra-fit actress, known for her active and healthy lifestyle, was not expected to pack on pounds that way. As such, out-of-the-ordinary curves on her body tend to raise pregnancy speculations.
