It's a miracle. A toddler 'came back to life' after being lifeless for 12 minutes. The little girl survived pool drowning and got her pulse back. Know the heartbreaking yet very touching story here.

Jamie Nipper and her three-year-old daughter, Alise, attended a pool party to catch up with their friends in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on a sunny day of July 29.

Everyone was having fun when suddenly a brewing storm startedt and each guest hurriedly went indoors. Jamie knew Alise was on her side but when she looked by her side, her little one was suddenly missing.

"All of a sudden, I look over and she wasn't there, where I last saw her."

After searching for Alise around the place, she said something took over her and remembered jumping across the pool, came up and shouted, 'Dial 911'. Having high hopes and in deep prayers, she grabbed her and took her out of the pool. Yes, it was perhaps the longest 12 minutes of her life. She was really to see Alise "blue" and showed no signs of life. With much faith, she didn't give up and performed CPR. Heather Kyle, a nurse and CPR instructor who was also at the party, also helped. And after 12 minutes, everyone felt somehow relieved when a pulse was then noted. "She all of the sudden had color and pink lips. Her heart started and she started breathing, it was strong loud breaths," the mother narrated the 'miracle'.

An ambulance came just right in time and Alise was rushed to the hospital -- giving her the medical treatment she needed.

The family gave all the credit to F-A-I-T-H.

Since that terrifying yet miraculous day, Alise has made a full recovery. No words could explain how the little girl was able to survive this as she suffered serious brain, lung and body trauma.

Even the doctors could hardly explain how the 'miraculous recovery' happened...

"Her body and her brain were hurt," her doctor, Jeremy Garrett, told KFVS. "Her lungs took on severe injury, which continued to be a problem." But, just six days after the incident, Alise began to improve her condition. Then, she started to talk and sing -- the bubbly and jolly kid was so back!

"I look at her and think, How amazing, how awesome is our God," the grateful mom said. "[We are] so blessed. God is real." she exclaimed.
