Kevin Hart and David Beckham appear to be polar opposites, but that is not going to stop one of the kings of comedy from trying to imitate the athlete and model in their new H&M ad.

Kevin Hart impersonates the British soccer player, even moving into his home. The American comedian is seen imitating Beckham to the T - wearing identical clothing from H&M's fall "Modern Essentials" collection, from sweaters to slacks. This is all part of Kevin's efforts to play David Beckham in what sounds to be a faux biopic called "I Beckham."

"He wants to play you in I Beckham the movie," says Rick, a member of David's management team.

"Yeah and he wants to stay with you to kind of get into the role, get into the character... research is what they are calling it

Kevin Hart even takes it a bit further, trying and failing at taking an ice bath with the sculpted adonis and filming him while he sleeps.

Throughout the 31-second commercial Beckham is on the phone with Rick discussing or rather incredulously questioning if the whole ordeal is even possible.

"Rick you can't do this to me" he says on the phone. "How is this even possible?"

"How long are you staying?" David asks Kevin, who replies "I mean until we get it right."

David repeats the question in disbelief to Kevin who then takes an amusing stab at imitating Beckham's sexy British accent, saying "Until we get what right?"

According to Huffington Post, Beckham off camera is all about the "Ride Along 2" actor. He called Kevin "one of the funniest, smartest guys around." Hart had nothing but glowing words for his taller co-star. "To be able to make fun of a global icon like David Beckham is a comedian's dream. I love fashion as much as I love sports, which is why I was so excited to star in David's new H&M campaign," he said.

This little snippet is hilarious, imagine what the full length video will look like. The final cut of the H&M ad from the unlikely duo will premiere Sept. 28.
