The upcoming "Star Wars" movie is just 3 months away and fans are getting more restless than ever, hence the never-ending waves of rumors regarding the plot details of "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens".

In the latest round of updates from the rumor mill, there have been more whisperings about Rey's identity, which is already mysterious in itself. The latest speculation is that she may probably be a Jedi, as hinted by a trading card set. You can check out the card in question here.

It's notable that Finn, who is also speculated to be a future Jedi, did not get the same Jedi stamp in the card as Rey. Could this mean that Finn will remain a Rebel and never become a Jedi? Or perhaps his training hasn't begun yet?

Rey's Jedi eventuality may be surprising as she has never been seen to use a lightsaber or The Force. She's been suspected to be Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter - something that has not yet been backed by other clues. However, it's been established that she "spent much of her life scavenging the desert of Jakku - in order to survive," as noted by ScreenRant.

Interestingly, more details about Rey's background was somehow revealed by a description that came with the "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" Rey costume. The said description somehow hinted that she may indeed be a Jedi-in-the-making.

"The mission to take down the First Order is underway!" the description began, according to iDigitalTimes. "After invading the Starkiller Base, one member of the Resistance has split from her group and found herself in a massive room full of First Order soldiers. Completely surrounded by Stormtroopers with blasters and Knights of Ren with lightsabers, she seems to be totally outnumbered."

"Unfortunately for her enemies, though, they've made a big mistake: it's not about the strength of the weapon, but the strength of the warrior that wields it," it concluded.

What's fascinating about this description, the site said, is that it alluded to a "specific scene."

"In addition, her ensuing battle with a number of Stormtroopers and dark Jedi's essentially confirms that Rey is not only one with the force, but a powerful user as well," the news portal added.

This tidbit may open up yet another batch of questions, like who trained Rey and when that happened or will happen. Or is she really Princess Leia's offspring, explaining why she can wield The Force?

What do you think?
