WWE Night of Champions 2015 is done and over with and when the smoke cleared at the Toyota Center, Seth Rollins still possesses the grandest prize of them all – the WWE Heavyweight title.

Rollins survived a busy night as he had to defend two titles – the United States title and the WWE Heavyweight title – against John Cena and Sting (Steve Borden) respectively.

The Architect did lose the United States title to John Cena and almost finished the night title-less with the much speculated cash-in of Sheamus almost in play.

Almost in the sense that it took yet another surprise return to frustrate Sheamus’ privilege - that of which was the return of the ‘masked’ Kane.

After Sheamus hit his patented Brogue kick, it seemed that the Celtic Warrior was on the verge of snagging the WWE title from Rollins. An explosion and the entrance music of Kane however kept all that from happening with the former Rollins’ ally choke-slamming both Rollins and Sheamus.

The return didn’t seem like a reunion of sorts with Kane delivering his patented Tombstone move on Rollins as the WWE PPV came to a close. Things should be pretty interesting once WWE RAW gets underway.

Aside from Rollin’s survival, there were two other WWE titles that changed hands.

Charlotte, Ric Flair’s daughter, finally put an end to Nikki Bella’s reign as WWE champion when she applied a figure-four submission on Nikki to which the now former champion tapped out to become the new WWE Divas Champion.

In the Intercontinental division, Kevin Owens dug deep to pull one over the Big Guy Ryback to become the new champion.

The other title on the line was the WWE Tag Team titles held by the New Day. The trio lost to the Dudley Boyz after Xavier Woods came in for the save and thus leading to a DQ win.

For the non-title matches, the mystery partner of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose turned out to be one of the speculated guesses in Chris Jericho. Unfortunately Jericho didn’t seem to be the right choice as he cost the Reigns and Ambrose the win when he tagged himself in as Reigns was about to finish off Braun Strowman.

The end result saw Jericho passing out to the submission hold of Strowman and handing the Wyatt’s the win.

Other matches for the night saw Dolph Ziggler getting a win over the Bulgarian Brute Rusev.

The first match of the night saw The Cosmic Wasteland made up of Stardust and the Ascension defeated the trio of Neville and the Lucha Dragons.
