It looks like fans might finally be able to hear Rihanna's long-awaited eighth studio album, "R8," this fall.

A top music exec recently told Billboard that he is expecting the Barbadian star's latest project (as well as her "FourFiveSeconds" collaborator Kanye West's record) to arrive quite soon.

"Personally I'm anticipating new music from Rihanna and Kanye West -- it's just a matter of time until we get to hear it!" said iHeartMedia president, Tom Poleman.

While launching her fragrance, RiRi by Rihanna, at Macy's in downtown Brooklyn recently, the "B***h Better Have My Money" singer also hinted the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic" could be coming soon -- perhaps she might drop it this November, which is seemingly her favorite month to release new music, in celebration of her decade-long music career.

"Definitely a very big deal for me. You know, I can't believe it's 10 years already, but we definitely have to celebrate this year," she said via New York Daily News. "There are a few things I have in mind, so you'll have to wait on that, but don't think I'm forgetting because this means a lot to me that I made it to 10 years."

"New album is going really, really great," she continued. "We have recorded a lot of songs and I can't wait to finish and put it out. That's my next step."

RiRi then detailed her highly anticipated effort, via International Business Times.

"It's always gonna reflect where I am, or who I am at that time. This one is going to do the same. It's not going to be different," she added. "I'm having a lot of fun making this. Every album is like a new era, a new story to tell, a new chapter of your life."

According to Mirror Online, the "American Oxygen" crooner has "dumped a load of material" off her upcoming record and been in search of British artists lately.

"Rihanna is desperate for an edgy sound that will appeal to a European market as well as America," a source revealed.

The source also claimed that Rihanna wants to make smash hits again -- just like her 2011 collaboration with Calvin Harris, "We Found Love."

"So far she doesn't feel the songs she has are delivering the full package," the source added. "Her people have put in calls with the best songwriters on their books and requested they drop everything to help."
