Apple fans are looking forward to the unveiling of several new devices at the “Hey, Siri” event on September 9, 2015. There are rumors that the iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4, iPhone 6S and iMac with a 4K display, among others, will be introduced.

Vine Report stated that the rumored iPad Pro may finally be seen at the Apple “Hey, Siri” event in Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. The biggest iPad yet will start its pre-order period at the end of October 2015 and shipping is said to follow in November. If the plan pushes through, there may also be a new iPad Mini 4 to be unveiled at the event.

The iPad Pro is codenamed J98/J99 and will reportedly feature a 12.9-inch screen, Force Touch technology, Bluetooth stylus support, 2GB of RAM and dual side speakers. The tablet will most likely present an upgraded iOS 9 that allows split-screen and picture-in-picture viewing. The new OS will further feature an enhanced version of the virtual assistant Siri and Notification Center interfaces, Vine Report wrote.

The iPad Mini 4 is rumored to be thinner compared to its predecessor. It may run on the faster A-series processor and have improved cameras.

Based on another Vine Report, Apple may also launch a new 21.5-inch iMac with 4K display together with OS X El Capital. Pre-ordering may start at the end of October 2015 while shipping will follow a month later. The computer may have a 4096 x 2304 resolution, which is a huge upgrade from its predecessor, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The new desktop may run on the new OS X El Capitan and be powered by an AMD Radeon R9 processor.

9to5Mac reported that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are also expected to be unveiled at the Apple “Hey, Siri” event. The two phones will look the same as their predecessors, although these may be thicker due to the addition of Force Touch technology. The new iPhone may also run on the faster A9 processor, have 2GB of RAM and at least 16GB of internal memory. The handsets will have a 12-megapixel rear camera, capable of recording 4K videos. These will also have new NFC chips and motion wallpapers.

This year’s event is said to be even bigger than the unveiling of the iPhone 6, Apple Pay keynote and Apple Watch in 2014. There will be several unprecedented Apple devices that will debut on September 9, 2015.
