Ronda Rousey Gets Asked to the Marine Corps Ball: Will She Say Yes?

UFC Bantamweight champ and actress Ronda Rousey got asked out on a date!

True to the saying 'Go Big or Go Home,' North Carolina-based Jarrod Haschbert  decided to push for the former when he posted a video on Facebook asking the sports celebrity out on a date to the Marine Corps Ball in December.

"You are my celebrity crush, like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person," Haschbert explained in a video he posted to Facebook according to USA Today.

"Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball," he continued.

In an interview North Carolina TV Station as told by USA Today, Haschbert said his decision to post the video asking Rousey to the ball is the result of the persuasion and coercion of his roommate and best friend.

 "You would truly be making my dreams come true," Haschert said in closing.

"I really hope you get this, and take consideration into it, thank you very much."

Haschbert said in a recent interview with TMZ Hollywood Sports that he is in 'complete shock ' after finding out that the video has nearly 4million views online and that her remains hopeful that Rousey will say 'yes.'

While no response has been heard from Rousey's end, Haschbert is still 'super confident' and has even prepared a game plan in the event she accepts the invitation.

The only barrier to this endearing offer, however, is Rousey's training schedule in December for her fight against Holly Holm in January, as reported by Fox News.

Haschbert is not the first to ask a celebrity out to the Marine Corps Ball.

Fox News helped out Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan in 2011 when he asked Mila Kunis to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball via YouTube video.

As of today, the video has over 4 million views.
