Microsoft will host a huge event in October 2015 to unveil a number of new devices. Among the anticipated products are two Lumia smartphones, said to be called Talkman and Cityman.

Phone Arena wrote that the Talkman and Cityman may eventually be called the Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL or Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, respectively. Leakster @evleaks recently featured a number of images which showed the two phones in various angles. One image showed the Cityman linked to what appeared to be a Continuum docking station. The device allows users to present images on the phone’s screen onto a computer screen.

Softpedia wrote that the upcoming Lumia smartphones will be powered by Windows 10 mobile. Although there is no confirmation from Microsoft at the moment, it seems like the company will be skipping the 940 series in terms of the name, and go straight to the 950 line, calling the new devices Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

Windows Central reported that the Microsoft Talkman will be the less powerful model between the two handsets. It will feature a 5.2-inch OLED capacitative touchscreen display with Quad HD support and a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The device will also include an infrared iris scanner for Windows Hello and a microSD card slot to expand the internal memory up to 128GB. Talkman will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The device will have a 20-megapixel PureView rear camera with triple-LED flash. There will also be a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera. Other things to expect from the Talkman include Qi wireless charging with flip cover, a removable 3,000mAh battery and USB Type-C support. Continuum will be available via an additional accessory.

Windows Central also stated that the Lumia 950 XL or Cityman, will feature a bigger 5.7-inch OLED display with Quad HD and a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It will be available in Matte White or Black and made of polycarbonate material. It will also have an infrared iris scanner for Windows Hello and a microSD card slot to allow up to 128GB of memory. The smartphone will run on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It also has the same 20-megapixel PureView rear camera with triple-LED flash. There are rumors that the Cityman will have a 1mm silver ring within the circumference of the black camera pod. There is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera as well. It will be powered by a removable 3,300mAh battery and feature USB Type-C support and Qi wireless charging.

Microsoft might unveil the new Lumias on October 19, 2015.
