Schalke 04 is in a tremendous position to clinch a round of 16 berth on Wednesday.

With a win over Olympiakos, the German side will automatically make it to the next round of the UCL. They have been the top team in the group with two wins and two draws, including a pair of 2-2 results against Montpelier and Arsenal. Their 2-0 win in England over Arsenal seemed to create awareness for Germany's second best squad and the side only added to its own hype by returning from a 2-0 deficit at home to tie Arsenal two weeks ago. They did lose to Leverkusen this past weekend, but are firmly in second place in the Bundesliga.

Olympiakos is in a tight spot. A loss coupled with an Arsenal win against Montpelier puts them out of the Champions League for good with only a Europa League berth as their sole consolation. However, a draw with Schalke keeps them alive as they only trail the German side by two points. The Greek side has looked inconsistent with a 3-1 loss to Arsenal--their biggest fall. They did put up a solid game against Schalke 04 at home in the tournament's opening match, but fortunes could change considerably now that they are on the road.

Prediction: It should be a tight defensive match. 0-0 Draw.
