Bored with the same food on your plate? Give your ordinary meals some hale and hearty boost with these no-cook side dishes and appetizers.

1. Mexican-Style Veggie Bowl

Toss in a large bowl the avocado, black beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, frozen corn, and red onion. And on a separate small bowl, whisk together some olive oil, red wine vinegar, lime juice, lemon juice, sugar, salt, garlic, cilantro, cumin, and black pepper. Season to taste with hot sauce and chili powder. Don't forget to pour olive oil dressing over vegetables and mix well. Chill and serve cold.

2. Fresh White and Red Cabbage Duo with Canned Sweet Corns

In a bowl, whisk together the lime juice, oil, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Then, add the fresh red and white cabbage, pour in the sweet corns, toss to combine, and serve.

3. Raw Carrot, Radish, and Cucumber Trio

Combine the cucumber, carrot, and radishes to a medium bowl. Mix it with the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup or honey (optional), and cilantro. Top with salt and pepper to taste and serve. Remember to make the 'cuts' depending on your preference and yes, mood!

4. The Trio Salad with a Twist

Do the same magic in the 'Trio' (set in #3) then, add some avocado cream sauce and dill for a yummy consistency and color. Now, are you ready for some luscious bites? Yum!

5. All-Time Crisp Mix to Veg Up Your Meals

This all-time superstar is a combi of colorful confetti and some crisp veggies. Shred vegetables like carrot, zucchini, celery, onion, turnip, and some herb. Toss them in a bowl and partner them with your fave dressings or toppings. Reward your tummies with this very healthy salad as you also satisfy your taste buds.

6. Baby Rocket Salad with Tomato and Pecorino Cheese

Place rocket, tomato, olives, vinegar, oil and two-thirds of pecorino cheese in a bowl. Season with pepper to taste. Toss to combine and sprinkle the remaining cheese. Serve with a smile. 

7. The BLT (minus the bacon) Broccoli, Lettuce and Tomato Salad

Wash and cut some crisp ettuce, red and ripe plum tomatoes, and fresh broccoli. Mix them all in a bowl, season to taste, chill, and serve.
