The release for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was pushed back to next year. CyberGate2 intends to make the final instalment of the series a game to be remembered, just like how the manga by Masashi Shikamoto ended.

Fifteen years have passed since the first Naruto manga was published in Japan. Since then, the franchise has obtained countless followers all over the world. Both the young of age and young at heart know the famous trouble-maker Shinobi who claims that he will become the next Hokage. Due to the popularity of the story, the Naruto franchise has jumped into different media forms.

While there are a lot of fans who follow the animated television series, Namco Bandai and CyberGate2 joined forces to create the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series. The video game seriesgarnered many fans and followers and is now on to its last instalment.

"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" boasts a wide variety of playable characters and is considered to be the third largest roster to date in the franchise, according to Lazy Gamer. CyberGate2 pulled no punches, enlisting 61 characters and 86 variants of these shinobi.

According to Vine Report, game developers might still add more characters before its release on February next year. Other than the character variants from "Naruto: The Last" and "Boruto" movies, the game will also feature the next generation of shinobi. Sarada Uchiha, Sasuke's daughter, will team up with Bolt (Boruto) Uzumaki and will have their own story mode. Team 7 from the first and second seasons will also be part of the selection. Characters who died, such as Jiraiya and Neiji Hyuga, will also return along with many prominent characters only seen recently from the "Great Shinobi Wars" featured on the manga and anime. From a fan's point of view, Bandai Namco and CyberGate2 aim to honor the legacy that Masashi Shikamoto has given the world by making "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" the best ninja fighting game they have ever made. From what fans have seen so far, the game developers are starting to live up to their word.
