Austin Mahone, Becky G Split: The Real Reason For Breakup Revealed!

After five months of dating, Becky G and Austin Mahone have called it quits.

Seventeen has confirmed that the summer love has indeed died. Both of them tweeted publicly to inform their fans about what has happened and explained that they were fine. Austin is starting to open up about what really took place, according to a report posted by Seventeen.

Austin was quoted during his interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he said: "We actually kinda broke up a few days ago, just 'cause we're busy traveling and all that. We thought it was just kinda best if we just chill for a second, but we're still super close."

Hollywood Life, meanwhile, reported that Becky G has been going through a stressful time. But the 19-year-old singer maintained that she is fine despite the breakup. In her tweets, as reported by Hollywood Life, she said: ""Guys I'm fine!" she wrote, after fans reportedly expressed their concern. "I'm happy! I'm going on TOUR!! It's just stressful. But I promise I'm good :) love you guys," showing it was a relatively peaceful break-up that both have agreed upon.

However, Hollywood Life tried to back track previous posts of Austin. The "Dirty Work" singer, before the announcement of the breakup, posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "My nose ring fell out, and it won't go back in. oh well, I guess some things are just not meant to be..."

E! News regarded this as part of the trials of young love. E! News claimed that its reporter was able to gather information from a reliable source about the breakup. The source affirmed the claim of the ex-couple that they are still friends and that there is no bad blood after the split.

Another E! News source shared: (Austin) "thinks she is amazing and the best person, but it's just so hard. It's hard enough to have a relationship at all, but when you're traveling-like they both travel so much-it's almost impossible. So we'll see what happens. But yeah, they are taking a break for a minute and focusing on work."

In a previous interview with E! News, Austin has also great things to say about Becky G. When they were still dating, Austin said he could relate with Becky so much. "It's cool to date someone that does the same thing you do so you can express when you're stressed out about this and that, and they can be like 'I feel you and understand because I'm feeling the same," he said.
