SideQuest Studios has announced that the upcoming game "Rainbow Skies" and the existing bestseller "Rainbow Moon" will be part of PlayStation4, according to The Vita Lounge.

"Rainbow Skies" is said to have a cross-save support that can also be played at PS3 and PS Vita versions. For players who wish to focus on the gameplay, there is an option to skip the conversations.

On the official website of Rainbow Skies, the game was described to offer "emphasis on storytelling, writing, character backgrounds and acting, so players can expect a more interesting and well-crafted plot that features many twists and turns along the way." The description added: "the complex background story consists of multiple, interwoven narratives, told through easy to read dialogs that are entertaining and, in the case of certain character, extremely funny."

On its blog, PlayStation expressed excitement about the release that will happen soon. The blog post claimed that aside from enlisting the help of a script writer, there is also an original monologue system that would result to more lively conversations during the game. The PS blog post added: "We have implement numerous new animations, emoticons, and conversation-specific icons that help convey the feelings and moods that heroes undergo during their journey."

After the release of "Rainbow Moon," the makers reported to have received feedback that many players want to highlight storytelling as part of the game. There is also a log system where players can keep track of each mission or task. This would enable players to pick up even after a break from playing the game.

The developers claimed that "Rainbow Skies" will take place in a new world and will serve as an indirect sequel of "Rainbow Moon." "The game tells the story of the three young protagonists Damion, Layne, and Ashly, that meet under unforeseen circumstances and who get caught in the deadly crossfire of two rival superpowers," as posted by The Vita Lounge.

Players who wish to try "Rainbow Moon" can also access it for free through PS+. This will certainly give players an idea on how the game works, and then they can decide if it will be worth their time or not. More news about the "Rainbow Skies" will be issued within the year as a build up for its official release, according to The Vita Net.
