The sequel to the surprise blockbuster film, "Maze Runner," is going to open very soon and one of its cast members, Dylan O'Brien, has gotten to talk about the movie and his reaction to the events that happened during the film.

During an interview with Screen Rant, O'Brien talks about how he felt regarding the manner by which some of the events in the movie panned out, especially with him getting to shoot two kissing scenes with two different cast members on the same day. O'Brien says that kissing the two girls felt like kissing a family member since all the actors on the set spend so much time together that he considers them family at this point.

O'Brien shares that the entire cast does seem to gel together really well. The actor goes on to say that each of them bring something unique to the set. With all the different personalities that go around the set, it is really something that all the actors actually get along so well. He states that in a surprising turn of events, the crew came together rather unusually. Apparently, the crew would frequent going to Chick-A-Fil as well as play Mario Kart.

The new sequel comes after the first movie did so well in the box office. According to Variety, the first movie drew in US$102 million in domestic sales. With the success of the first film, O'Brien also gained high praise for his portrayal of Thomas. One review of the movie called the film refreshingly low-tech and properly story driven.

O'Brien goes on to say that the movie is trying please its growing legion of fans. One particular scene which involved Chuck's death would please movie goers. O'Brien says that he is glad he can say that the scene would appeal to the fans of the movie franchise as well as the books without being mauled by a crowd of angry comic-con goers.

"Maze Runner: Scorch Trails" will take Thomas and his group of Gladers to the blasted landscape of Scorch. The Gladers will be searching for clues that pertain towards the mysterious organization known as WCKD. Thomas' team will soon find themselves teaming up with the resistance forces of Scorch to fight the WCKD. The organization will then slowly uncover their plans for Thomas and his friends.

"Maze Runner: Scorch Trails" is set to debut on Sept 18.
