WWE SummerSlam 2015 Matchups, Predictions, Rumors & Everything We Know So Far Here!

With WWE SummerSlam just a week away, the match that many are surely looking forward to see will be the one between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker.

Though the timing is a bit off considering it took over a year for the Undertaker to seek payback on the Beast Incarnate, the WWE has certainly been able to transform the angle into an action-filled and emotionally pegged matchup.

To recall, Brock Lesnar dealt the Undertaker his first Wrestlemania defeat at Wrestlemania 30 and the Beast has used that accomplishment as one of his worthiest accomplishments.

After manager Paul Heyman and Lesnar’s continued berating, the Dead Man seemed to have had enough and appeared at WWE Battleground to cost Lesnar the chance to regain his WWE Heavyweight title against Seth Rollins.

From there, mayhem broke loose and the bad blood has certainly been felt.

The main event is expected to be a brutal and lengthy one though many believe that the Undertaker will come out as the winner. If so, this could signal more matchups between the two which should justify rumors as well that the Dead Man could be appearing more on other WWE Shows.

Another tiff scheduled is the one involving Seth Rollins and John Cena. To date, the match seems to be bringing up a lot of questions than answers, mostly because the condition of Cena renders a big question mark.

Cena broke his nose in a match against Rollins and has not appeared on any of the shows as of this writing. Assuming Cena appears soon, the Daily Wrestling News bares that it will be a winner-take-all match at WWE SummerSlam between Cena and Rollins. Though this is a tough one to call, it may not be surprising to see the match end in a DQ and thus no title change.

Be on the lookout for Sheamus though. After failing to cash in during a previous WWE show, the Celtic Warrior could cash in after Rollins and Cena decimate and do the ample damage against each other.

There is that much talked about match as well that would see Arrow star Stephen Amell partnering with Neville against Stardust and King Barrett. Neville will likely take up most of the ring action though Amell could get in a hit or two.

Another match that raises some questions is the Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Title. It will pit Ryback, Big Show and the Miz mixing it up but the thing is Ryback has yet to make an appearance.

Ryback has been out since WWE Battleground due to a staph infection so it will be interesting to see if he shows up in any of the shows before SummerSlam.

Ziggler is reportedly back (in a live event held at British Columbia) so expect him to get it on with Rusev. Will the Showoff get payback on the Bulgarian Brute who put him out of commission? What does the future hold for Lana and Summer Rae, the partners of both protagonists.

Then there is the tag match between Roman Reigns/ Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt/Luke Harper. Will teh former Shield duo score on over the supernatural Wyatts? Will it be a clean match?

There are rumor floating that Dean Ambrose may turn on Reigns. But then again, these rumors have also cropped up in past pay-per-views. Will it really take place this time?

Aside from those matches, there are also the four-way fight for the WWE tag team titles currently held by the Prime Time Players and the Divas battle pitting team Team Bella against PCB and Team B.A.D.

Could there be more matches to be made in the remaining days?

WWE SummerSlam happens on August 23, 2015 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event will be aired live via the WWE Network starting at 7 p.m.ET and 4 p.m. PT
