Mr. Torque's Campaign of Carnage, the next Borderlands 2 DLC pack, will channel Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot and introduce a new currency known as Torgue Tokens to the mix.

The setting, an arena near the "Badass Crater of Badassitude," adds a new vault for players to crack open, according to IGN. The winner of the expansion's tournament style missions will need to obtain a unique key to unlock this new bounty, "the blood of the ultimate coward."

The site details that "Torgue's campaign mixes Borderlands 2's typical mission structure with the Circles of Slaughter seen in the main game, using horde mode-style battles to punctuate story missions throughout its running time, which is roughly the same as the previous expansion." Only players level 15 or higher will have access to its content.

New characters such as Piston, the player's sponsor for the tournament, will be introduced, while old favorites like Tiny Tina, Moxxi, and Tannis will make cameos.

Unfortunately, the level cap will remain the same for now, but developer Gearbox plans to remedy this issue in future DLC releases. Steve Gibson, the company's vice president of marketing, states: "We think people are going to be really happy when we do get to it. It's a little bit different way of doing it. Yes, the number will go up, but there are some other things associated with it that we're trying to do an even better job of."

Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage will be available for download on Nov. 20th.

The first DLC pack, "Captain Scarlett," introduced a bandit town called Oasis, a new currency known as seraph crystals, a new hovering sand skill vehicle, and new enemies.

The developer also introduced a new class known as the Mechromancer, which has the ability to summon a robot ally in battle. The new character, known as Gaige, maintains her own unique skill tree.

Gamers have the option to download each slice of content individually for $9.99, or to opt for a $29.99 Season Pass that entitles consumers to four add-on packs.
