After Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, her conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed an amended lawsuit on July 24 in Fulton Country, which revealed that Nick Gordon, Brown's boyfriend, was at fault for her death, USA Today reported.

The news outlet further said that the lawsuit accused Gordon of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and unauthorized transfer of money to his account. Apart from these, it also notes a wrongful death count.

In a statement from People, Hargrove said, "I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count for wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown."

According to the lawsuit, which was uploaded by USA Today, the papers claimed that after "being out all-night on a cocaine and drinking binge," Gordon arrived on January 31 at 6:00 am at Brown's townhouse. The two allegedly got into a fight after Gordon watched "camera footage of Brown and listened to her conversations."

During the fight, Gordon was screaming, accusing Brown of cheating and calling her a number of names. The argument went on for 30 minutes until "everything abruptly became quiet."

The papers further claimed that Gordon "gave Bobbi Kristina a toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious and then put her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to sudden brain damage."

It also said that at that time, Gordon was with another female guest in the townhouse. He went to her after leaving Brown unconscious, laying his head on her ankle and saying, "Now I want a pretty little white girl like you."

After about 15 minutes, someone checked on Brown and saw her unresponsive and unconscious with her “mouth swollen” and a “tooth hanging loosely from her mouth.”

Gordon allegedly went back to the room and shouted, "Clean up, clean up." He then began slapping Brown and started to do CPR to wake her up.

The papers also noted that prior to the incident on January 31, witnesses saw Gordon hitting Brown so hard in the living room that the couch, where she was sitting, allegedly broke.

On January 31, Brown had plans to meet someone to discuss her situation with Gordon because he "was not the man he thought he was."

Miami attorney Jose Baez, said to Reuters, that Gordon could not immediately be reached for a statement.

The 22-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was in a coma for months. In June, she was moved to hospice care and died July 26.
