Good news for Spider-Man fans as Marvel confirmed that the upcoming "Spider-Man" reboot will not be an origin story for the hero. New information regarding the web slinger's appearance on "Captain America: Civil War" has been allegedly revealed.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the writers behind the "Spider-Man" reboot, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, confirmed that the upcoming Spider-Man reboot will not be an origin story for the character. Goldstein admitted during a recent interview that there is no need to revisit the origin of Spider-Man and how he accepted his role as a superhero.

"Everybody feels like, you know he got bit by a spider and you know Uncle Ben died," said Goldstein.

This is certainly good for the fans. If Marvel went forward with an origin story for the "Spider-Man" reboot, this would be the third time that the hero's origins would be shown in a movie. This would certainly introduce redundancy to the plot and might annoy the fans.

Entertainment Weekly also noted that the director of the "Spider-Man" reboot, Jon Watts, admitted in an interview that Tom Holland is "perfect" for the role. He shared that Holland is able to capture the essence of Peter Parker as a "real high school student," and that it is nice that the actor can do some acrobatic moves of his own such as backflips.

Meanwhile, Daley notes that the Peter Parker in previous films would be different from Holland's version since the latter's character is just a kid.

"It'll be a fun departure from the Peter Parker that you've seen where now, he is truly a kid," said Daley. "And I think the stakes are increased in that his struggle through high school is very real and isn't just a sort of side note. It matters now."

Meanwhile, an alleged production assistant who works for Marvel leaked details about Spider-Man's cameo in "Captain America: Civil War."

The production assistant, who calls himself "PetersPacker," stated that the Spider-Man cameo in "Captain America: Civil War" would be very short but could reveal his first costume. It will also reveal why he calls himself "Spider-Man."

"Apparently, Spider-Man would NOT wear his finalized suit in the film. He will wear his homemade suit. It's a just a red hoodie with a spider logo at the back and he wears a red ski mask and he has black googles on. Basically, Tom Hollands scene is just him wearing the mask and him saying 'Ant-Man huh? I guess I know what people should call me now' as he jumps from a building and web slings away," said PetersPacker.
