During San Diego Comic-Con 2015 last month, shocking revelations were divulged by the cast of AMC's hit television series, "The Walking Dead." As if to tease fans some more, the network has released new promotional pictures for public viewing.

A word of caution as the following information might contain spoilers. Readers, you have been warned.

With "The Walking Dead" Season 6's premiere on the small screen drawing nearer and AMC's prequel series, "Fear The Walking Dead," coming later this month, fans are ecstatic to see the promotional photos. Faint-hearted readers are advised to steer clear as the following images may be too graphic.

According to Unreality TV's recap of Season 5, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) has just killed Pete. The latter killed Deanna's (Tovah Feldshuh) husband Reg, which urged Rick to kill him as well. Morgan (Lenny James) witnessed this horrendous act with the look of shock and betrayal on his face.

Some fans might thing that Pete deserved to die as he was known to beat up his wife. However, Morgan disagrees with Rick's action. According to an earlier report from Forbes, Morgan show no reservations when it comes to violence but strongly believes that all lives are precious.

The unfolding of events in Season 5's finale episode has led fans to believe that there will soon be a divide between the citizens of the Alexandria Safe-Zone. However, Lenny James said to fans on recent reports not to take the Comic-con trailer too seriously.

Since then, there have been rumors about new characters from the comic book coming to the television series. Followers of the comic book where the television series was based and named after would easily distinguish an important and iconic character if he or she makes an appearance on "The Walking Dead" television series. In fact, there are quite a few. According to Nerd Core Movement, when talking about villains of the series, only two names are noteworthy - The Governor and a man named Negan.

The Governor did cost the lives of many survivors, including Hershel and Andrea, and the collapse of the prison. The report further stated that though The Governor was evil, he doesn't even come close to the man who wields a baseball bat covered in barbed-wire - Negan.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Negan leads a group of survivors, called the "Saviours," whose actions are contrary to their name. The report described Negan as someone who is like The Governor but on a really different level. Another character rumored to make his debut out of the comic book and into the television screen is Paul Monroe. Also known as Jesus, Monroe was mistrusted by Rick and his group at first. As time passed, Monroe gained their trust and considered as a valuable ally.

So far, only two confirmed characters from the characters will be introduced for Season 6 - Denise (Merrit Wever) and Heath (Corey Walker).

Fans' anticipation builds up as the "The Walking Dead" Season 6 release date comes closer, and even more so when AMC moved the premiere of "Fear The Walking Dead" from July to late August. According to Screen Rant, this move makes logical sense since the season finale for "Fear The Walking Dead" on October will allow a smooth transition to the premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 on the same month.

AMC's "Fear The Walking Dead" will air on Aug 23, 2015. "The Walking Dead" Season 6 will air on Oct 11, 2015.
