New images of the upcoming iPhone 6s leaked recently. The new photos did not appear to be much different from the iPhone 6.

GeekBar, a Chinese phone repair company, leaked three new images on its Weibo account of what is allegedly to be the iPhone 6s. The photos were not very different from what the iPhone 6 already has. There was also no obvious sign of the Force Touch. M.I.C Gadget also presented some photos of what is reportedly the prototype of the iPhone 6s. There were also no major differences compared to the iPhone 6, but the source stated that the device has a thickness of 7.1mm which is slightly thicker compared to the iPhone 6, which has a thickness of 6.9mm. The iPhone 6 Plus also has a thickness of 7.1mm. The added thickness can be a sign of the new Force Touch in the display.

Phone Arena reported that the new purported iPhone 6s images users more details about the upcoming iPhone 6s. Based on the photos, it seemed that the new smartphone will have a protruding camera just like the iPhone 6. One of the components presented was a camera ring, which looked just like the one on the current iPhone 6. The home button holder was also shown, with a gold ring. The new gold-toned versions are said to be called champagne. The flex cable of the upcoming device was also shown. Compared to the present flex cable which has two parts, the new version only has one. To the left of the cable is the True Tone LED flash.

Mac Rumors wrote that the iPhone 6s is expected to feature more internal improvements, instead of aesthetic changes. The screen size will remain at 4.7 and 5.5 inches, and a 4-inch model will not be launched. There are rumors that a new pink color may be included in the available tone options, while the 7000 series aluminum might be used in the next model. The device will most likely feature an A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, Force Touch technology, an improved Touch ID and an enhanced 12-megapixel rear camera. The available colors include gold, silver, rose gold and space gray. Integral features like NFC for Apple Pay, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and LTE Advanced connective capabilities and internal storage options of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, will still be available.

The Apple iPhone 6s is expected to launch in the fall of 2015.
