Professional boxers Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather will be facing each other in a professional boxing match that will be the highlight for many 'Cinco de Mayo' celebrations around the nation on Saturday Night.

Before continuing, quick important info. about the fight:

Cotto, the Puerto Rican native, will be defending his WBA (Super) Light Middleweight title against Mayweather, the undefeated American professional boxer.

A strong boxing record on both sides--Mayweather 40-0, Cotto 37-2--promises to be an action-packed fight with both sides having much to lose: Cotto his belt, Mayweather his undefeated status, and last but not least, the boxing pride of the countries they represent.

In an interview, FoxNews Latino recently asked Cotto about his pride and how it would affect him before the fight. "I'm a Puerto Rican. I think a lot about my Puerto Rican heritage, the Puerto Rican people, but I'm coming alone into the ring on Saturday night and I'm going to do my best for all the Puerto Rican fans."

He was also asked how he was planning to beat Mayweather to which he responded, "My game plan is putting practice, putting in all the hard-work, all of the plans from my trainer Pedro designed for this fight, and that's the way to beat Mayweather on Saturday."

Much is in play in a bout that is making headlines in the boxing world due to the boxers' history but also because the fight will help shed light on which ethnicity is superior in the boxing ring, at least for a short moment: Americans or Latinos?
