In the wake of Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's separation, various reports regarding the reason behind their split have emerged. Recently, it's been alleged that one of those was a third party - the former nanny of the estranged pair's children, Christine Ouzounian.
"Multiple sources reveal Affleck has been dating 28-year-old California native Christine Ouzounian, a woman he and Garner hired as a nanny for their three kids this spring," Us Weekly said.
Ouzounian, acquired from a "high-end Beverly Hills nanny agency," came to the couple's household when the pair were still engaged in a 10-month trial separation, according to the entertainment news source. However, she soon became attracted to her male boss.
"They would hang out without the kids," a friend of the Arizona State University graduate told Us Weekly. "And they were very flirty."
"She says Ben really, really likes her," the insider went on. "She's saying this is true love."
The attraction allegedly did not go unnoticed. Ouzounian was later fired by Garner. But this reportedly didn't stop her and Affleck from continuing to see each other.
Meanwhile, People said that "multiple sources" affirmed that the erstwhile nanny is indeed having an affair with the actor and that she is "in love" with the "Batman vs Superman" star.
"Affleck and Ouzounian began the affair last spring, not long after she was hired, and would often meet at the Hotel Bel Air," a pal of Ouzounian's said, adding that the former nanny had shown photos of her kissing and even sitting on the father of three's lap.
"It's been going on for a long time," the friend confirmed.
Another friend in Ouzounian's circle also agreed that the 28-year-old had gone about telling friends about her romantic liaison with her famous boss.
"For Christine, it was a relationship," the insider said. "A friend warned her she was going to end up heartbroken."
Ouzounian's friend went on to reveal that it was while Garner was in the Bahamas with the kids about a month ago that she learned of the affair. The source went on to clarify that the romance was not the reason Garner and Affleck separated.
"There was no affair during or after [their marriage]. Ben and Jen have been separated for months," the pal reiterated.
Despite these claims, the actor had denied them all in an official statement released recently. He said that the reports were "garbage," according to MailOnline.
"The story is complete garbage and full of lies. You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. The tabloid [Us Weekly] decided to construct stories in order to sell magazines. It's like story time in kindergarten. It's shameful and desperate," a rep of the actor told New York Post's Page Six.
