‘Iron Man 4’ Still Happening? Release Date, Cast, Plot & Rumors Here!

Good news for Iron Man fans as it seems that "Iron Man 4" could happen and that it is very likely that Robert Downey, Jr could be back as Tony Stark for future Marvel films.

It looks like "Iron Man 4" could happen with Tony Stark being played by Robert Downey Jr. Reports indicate that it is likely that Marvel and Disney would accept Downey's request of getting a higher payday to play the popular Marvel superhero in the future.

In a report by Kazem Sedighzadeh of Master Herald, Shane Black, the director for the critically-hated "Iron Man 3" has admitted that we could see Robert Downey Jr. playing Tony Stark in "Iron Man 4" and possibly, "Iron Man 5".

"There has been a lot of discussion about it: 'Is this the last Iron Man for Robert?' Something tells me that it will not be the case, and will be seen in a fourth, or fifth," said Black in a report by Screen Rant.

Master Herald also adds that fans shouldn't have to worry about Marvel and Disney not paying Robert Downey Jr. the extra money as they note that they could afford it.

As was noted in the report, "Iron Man 3" is one of the highest-grossing movies of all time with its worldwide box office haul of $1.22 billion and they note that if Robert Downey Jr. asks for a pay raise, Marvel can afford to pay him more.

This is good news for Robert Downey Jr. fans as Master Herald notes that it has been rumored that Tony Stark could eventually be written off as Iron Man and replaced by a new character.

According to Master Herald, Ty Simpkins' character, Harley Keener in "Iron Man 3," was rumored to take over the "Iron Man" mantle from Tony Stark as it was alleged that the latter is retiring from being a superhero.

Latinos Health added to this by stating that if this rumor was a fact, "Iron Man 4" would be be set in the far future with Harley all grown up and it is revealed that he would be Tony's equal in terms of knowledge and engineering skill.

According to report by Latinos Health, it can be expected that "Iron Man 4" would be on 2019 as they note that "Iron Man 4" may be released after Phase 3. The report says that production for Phase 3 would start on 2017 which means that "Iron Man 4" could be released for 2019 at the earliest.
