Read Madrid has gotten over their early season slump, but now Cristiano Ronaldo has entered into one of his own.

The striker has not scored for the squad in two straight matches against Real Zaragoza and Dortmund. In each of them, he was invisible and contributed nothing to the team. Fortunately, they came away with points in both, but better play from their superstar could have created a more favorable result than the 2-2 draw against Borussia.

Aside from Ronaldo's slump, Madrid must now cope with Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema's injuries, leaving the squad without its top two strikers. Mesut Ozil scored a huge goal during Tuesday's match against Borussia Dortmund and hopefully it could snap out his horrific slump of just one assist in Spanish League play. With eight points separating them from first place Barcelona, Real Madrid will need a huge effort from their big players to fill in the gaps.

Unfortunately they take on Levante a team that is in sixth place because of a dismal road record. At home the team is undefeated and has scored 10 times in five matches. They are led by Obafemi Martins and his four goals. Aside from a 1-1 draw to Atletico Madrid and a 1-0 win over Valencia, this team has yet to prove itself against strong competition and Real Madrid may be their first major test.

Prediction: It will be a tough match and Real Madrid will have to play a strong aggressive style. However they should win it in the end. 2-1 Madrid.
