Heading into week 11 of the EPL, Arsenal finds themselves in seventh place and a full nine points behind first place Manchester United.

Manager Arsene Wenger has seen his club struggle in the last since October 20 when they lost 1-0 to Norwich City. After that the team has won twice in the following five games, but one of those victories was weak 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers and the other was a 7-5 win over Reading in the Capital One Cup where defense was clearly not addressed. However, the other three matches were major lost points as Arsenal picked up just one of six points against Schalke 04 in Group Play of the UCL and lost 2-1 to Manchester United last week. They will be home for this one and they have won twice, lost once, and drawn once at home with eight goals scored and three allowed. Their offense is seventh in the league with 15 goals scored but their defense has been the best with just eight goals allowed and four clean sheets in the EPL.

Their opponents Fulham have allowed 16 goals and have scored 21 times (3rd best in the EPL). They currently reside in a seventh place tie with Arsenal with 15 points, making the match all the prevalent for both sides.  Fortunately for Arsenal, their foes have not been great away from home with one win, two losses, and two draws. They have only scored three times on the road and conceded six of their 16 goals away from home. This might indicate the possibility of tight match at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Prediction: A 0-0 draw seems reasonable since both sides will be looking to avoid losing ground and will play a tight defensive match.
