Good news for Marvel fans as new information regarding "X-Men: Apocalypse" have been unveiled.

According to a report by Agustin Guerrero of Screen Rant, "X-Men" film director Bryan Singer admitted that the characters in "X-Men: Apocalypse" will have more colorful costumes reminiscent of their comic book counterparts.

Singer stated that the characters changing to their iconic costumes would happen during the course of the movie. Singer also took pride in the fact that he believes that the closest thing that classic comic book costumes were presented in any "X-Men" film was that of "X-Men: First Class".

Screen Rant noted that the costumes in "X-Men: First Class" were based from the classic costumes found in the very first "X-Men" comic book while noting that Michael Fassbender's outfit in the end of the movie is a nod to his first appearance in the comics.

Max Evry of Coming Soon reported that Singer revealed new details about the plot of "X-Men: Apocalypse" as the movie will not just deal with the mutant-human problem but it would deal with the issue of the use of mutant powers throughout history.

Singer notes that Apocalypse is somewhat a different antagonist compared to previous villains because unlike Magneto or Bolivar Trask, Apocalypse does not care about the well-being of the humans or mutants, but shares the belief of Magneto about the survival of the fittest where the strong will survive while the weak dies.

Meanwhile, it has been hinted that Channing Tatum could appear in "X-Men Apocalypse" as his character Gambit could appear in the film.

As was reported by Sonalee Singh of the International Business Times, Singer posted a photo with the "Magic Mike" star on Instagram, possibly teasing fans that a possible cameo appearance by Tatum could happen in "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Always wanted to work with this guy! ;) #XMen #Gambit @channingtatum

It should be noted that Tatum said to MTV that he does not have the liberty to say whether or not Gambit will show up in the film, unless Singer and the rest of crew wanted to do it, and even if he were up to he says he does not want to introduce Gambit until he can explain who he really is.

It has also been rumored that Gambit along with two other mutants are set to appear on the film. These two mutants are rumored to be Scarlet Witch and Blink.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" will be released in cinemas on May 27, 2016.
