Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has always been known to be the showman, not to mention a practical joker, and he pulled off another one via Instagram last Tuesday.

The WWE star has been known to crack jokes for a laugh inside and outside the wrestling scene and now while on the set of his upcoming film, "Central Intelligence," the Rock took time out to post something which seemed to show him having a broken finger.

At first, the video shows what seemingly looks like a serious injury or something that proves the high tolerance of pain Johnson has.

Johnson explained how the alleged injury happened:

“I just stepped off set,” Johnson says in the video. “My director, Rawsom Thurber, just ran up to me. We had a little accident. He said, ‘Are you bleeding?’ I said, ‘Bleed? I ain’t got time to bleed.’ Let’s pop this son-of-a-bitch back in.”

In what initially seemed to be a serious injury was later on revealed to be nothing but a joke. Apparently, Johnson was playing around, according to someone from New Line. The Rock had used a prosthetic hand to make it look like he had a broken finger.

The Rock’s prank drew the attention of many when it went online via his IG, drawing various reactions on social media. At least that was the case before the whole ruckus was eventually cleared up afterwards.

This would be the second time that Johnson has had to clear things out. Two months ago, the Rock was hit a parked car as he was on his way to the set.

Rather than leave, the Rock returned to the scene and met up with the man who owned the damaged truck, a certain Audie Bridges. The scenario turned out to be more of a star struck exchange with both eventually ending up laughing and posing for some pictures.

As it turned out the damage that Bridges’ car suffered was minor and no serious damage/harm was really done as relayed by Bridges via the Boston Globe.

The Rock last appeared on San Andreas, a film that racked in over $400 million in the box office.

Johnson is set to appear on Central Intelligence opposite comedian Kevin Hart. He will take on the role of a CIA contract killer who hooks up with his former high school buddy (Hart). Johnson tries to convince Hart to help him foil a plot that involves selling military secrets.

Central Intelligence is currently filming and is expected to hit theatre on June 17, 2016.
