It looks like gamers who are eagerly waiting for a new game plus mode for the "Witcher 3" may have to wait a while longer as CD Projekt RED has finally responded to the questions as to when the requested feature of the game would be revealed.

CD Projekt RED has responded to the new game plus mode feature requests and their answer is something that fans do not want to hear.

According to Paul Metcalf of Segment Next, CD Projekt RED has admitted that fans should not expect to see a new game plus mode soon but stated that the feature is not entirely been trashed by the devs.

CD Projekt RED's Marcin Momot recently admitted that they cannot definitively answer the question if there would be a new game plus mode as it is still up in the air at the moment.

However, CD Projekt RED's North American Community Manager for the "Witcher", TheEvilChris, has admitted on the CD Projekt RED forums that the dev team is aware of the massive request that the game should have a new game plus mode but he notes that fans should just keep asking for it but they should not expect to see the game mode being added to the game at the moment because the devs are hard at work with bringing in the new patches for all the versions of the game as well developing all the content that would be introduced in the upcoming expansions for the "Witcher 3".

"I am not saying there is NO possibility you will ever see New Game +. The dev team is aware it has been requested and they like to keep fans happy when possible. However, as you can see by patch 1.07, there are other things being worked on as well. There are still 2 free DLCs (after this week's Ciri alt costume), there are patches still being worked on and there is the Expansion Pass material being developed. It may happen, it may not happen, but there is definitely no word on it happening currently," wrote TheEvilChris.

TheEvilChris then wrote, "There was a lot of speculation that you would see NG+ in patch 1.07 and it didn't happen. Some were disappointed by this. I recommend you politely keep asking for it, but don't expect it. Then, if it should ever happen, you'll be happy. But if it doesn't happen for a while, you won't keep being disappointed."
