Good news gamers as new details about the "GTA 6" release date along with some gameplay information may have been revealed online if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

It seems that gamers have a new game to look forward to as reports suggest that the "GTA 6" release date could be as soon as 2018 and that the game could be the biggest one yet as it spans the size of a country.

According to a report by Zuellen Reynoso of Youth Health Magazine, while it was initially rumored that the "GTA 6" release date was set to be on 2017, it has now been alleged that that Rockstar North has targeted 2018 to be the "GTA 6" release date.

The report by Youth Health Magazine notes that judging from previous development cycle data from past "Grand Theft Auto" games can support the reports that the game could be released by 2018.

Sina Beigi of Day Herald also revealed that "GTA 6" could be one of the biggest games ever released as it has been reported that the game could be the size of a country.

As was noted by the report by Day Herald, it has been alleged that the map of "GTA 6" could span an entire country as the map would be a slight recreation of the entire United States of America.

Beigi noted that Rockstar will need more time than just 5 years if they plan on recreating USA into the game. However, the report theorized that Rockstar could just include a lot of US locations instead of making one huge map.

Meanwhile, Beigi also suggested that Rockstar could take the US Map and make it more compact similar to what was done in the game "The Crew" where driving around from one side of the map to would not take days but just a couple of hours.

Day Herald also notes that Rockstar could have some difficulty in bringing the USA map to the "GTA" world as various roads in the country are sandwiched by empty desserts and this could spell trouble for Rockstar as the game could be plagued with huge areas with nothing to do in them as this is one of the reasons why Los Santos is smaller in "GTA 5" compared to "GTA: San Andreas", Rockstar wanted to cut the fluff and make each area more interactive and lively.

What do you think? Can Rockstar pull this off by 2018? Sound off in the comments section below.
