Duncan Jones, the director of the upcoming "Warcraft" movie, told io9 in a recent interview that the movie is wrapping up post-production.

During the interview, Jones reports that the status of the movie is pretty much finished up. According to Jones, there are about 10 VFX shots left to put into the movie but other than those, the movie is pretty complete.

Polygon.com reports that Jones is happy with the film and that he has shown it to several trusted people who described the movie to be good. The director is also reported to have good chemistry with Blizzard's senior vice president of story and franchise development, Chris Metzen. The two have a good idea for a story that can span for three films and that he (Jones) would love to be a part of the other two if they ever get made.

"Warcraft" will have a story that will be similar to that of the popular online game. Audiences will see that two factions of Azeroth, the Alliance and the Horde, are in a constant struggle to rule the land. Fans of the game will be able to see some familiar faces from the "World of Warcraft" storyline. Dominic Cooper of Iron Man and Captain America fame will be starring as the King of Stormwind  Llyn Wrynn, Paula Patton, who played the teacher Ms. Rain in "Precious", will be the half-Orc assassin Garona.

Other popular "World of Warcraft" characters scheduled to make an appearance in the movie include: Orgim Doomhammer, the sorcerer Medivh, and the master of the Silver Hand Paladins, Lothar. Popular internet character Leeroy Jenkins is also rumored to make a cameo as his name was in the first draft of the movie.

The actual story of the "Warcraft" movie has been kept under tight wraps by Legendary Pictures, and many fans are hoping to see a trailer at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Jones, who has also said he is a big game of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), hopes that the movie will spark interest in the game again and will help recruit new players to the "World of Warcraft."

The "Warcraft" movie is set to be released in theaters on June 2016, it was originally set for a December 2015 release but promoters of the film did not want to compete with the new Star Wars movie that was set to be release at the same time.
