Fans of the "Tekken" franchise might want to keep an eye on EVO 2015 as the event could likely be home to the appearance of the console version of "Tekken 7".

When it was announced that "Tekken 7" would be part of the EVO 2015 line-up, it presented an interesting scenario as "Tekken 7" is an Arcade-only game at the time and even until now, the Tekken Project team along with Katushiro Harada have been mum about the console versions of the game.

But it seems that players may finally get their chance to play the PS4 version of "Tekken 7" at the event.

According to Steven Hansen of Destructoid, players who would compete at the "Tekken 7" tournament are required to use a DualShock 4.

It should be noted that MadCatz Community and Sponsorship Manager, Mark Julio aka MarkMan23 confirmed the same thing on Twitter, noting that DS3 & DS2 with converters will not work with "Tekken 7".

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has confirmed that "Tekken 7" would finally arrive in North America this July and selected Arcades would be sent "Tekken 7" machines.

According to Ron Duwell of TechnoBuffallo, these are the names of the selected Arcades along with their addresses.

However, this is not the end of Bandai Namco's plans for "Tekken 7" as they have recently announced that the biggest "Tekken 7" tournament is going to happen this year.

According to Sarmad Lillah of Segment Next, Bandai Namco has confirmed that they are launching the "King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015" sometime between November and December and it seems that this is the biggest "Tekken 7" tournament for this year, even bigger than the "Tekken 7" tournament at EVO 2015.

As was noted on the report, the best players from Japan would compete at selected areas in Japan to have a chance at winning the $82000 prize pool and to be named as the best "Tekken 7" player in Japan.

"Tekken 7" has been confirmed to appear on the PS4 and Xbox One and EVO 2015 would be held at Bally's / Paris Las Vegas Casino from July 17 to 19.
