Sony recently announced the free PS Plus free game titles for the month of July 2015.

Ryan Clements of Sony wrote in a blog on July 1: "Prepare yourselves for a free games lineup the likes of which you've (probably) never seen! We've got rocket-powered cars, stealthy goblins, science cats, and even a little dab of arthouse wonder for good measure."

PlayStation 4 gamers will receive four titles, namely the multiplayer arcade game “Rocket League,” the puzzle game “Mousecraft," the fantasy stealth game “Styx: Master of Shadows” and the adventure title “Entwined.” PlayStation 3 and PS Vita gamers will get three titles including “Rain" and “Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved."

“Rocket League” is an exciting physics-based sports game that allows gamers to pick among several high-flying cars featuring giant rocket boosters. Players will compete to perform aerial tasks and do a number of saves by using the rides’ acrobatic abilities.

They can also destroy enemy players at supersonic speeds, Psyonix stated. Steam reported that “Styx: Master of Shadows” is an RPG infiltration game where players take on the role of a 200-year-old goblin named Styx. “Mousecraft” is described by Steam as an A to B puzzle game where gamers help mice in their mission to get more cheese. Players get to stack blocks and solve puzzles to guide the mice accordingly.

The free games, however, will become available in the second week of July 2015. PS Plus gamers can expect to receive the free titles on July 7. When these come out, the June games list will be removed so players are advised to download in the meantime. New members can also receive a 14-day trial of PS Plus free of charge. They can continue the service for $10 per month or sign up for three months for $18. A one-year subscription will cost $50.

PC Mag revealed that on the other hand, Microsoft announced a number of adjustments for its “Games with Gold” program for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. The new plan will have Microsoft feature a definite number of titles every month, compared to previously featuring one or two titles per month. For July 2015, “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” and “So Many Me” for the Xbox One and “Plants vs. Zombies” on the Xbox 360, Game Spot revealed. Microsoft is planning to support more titles in the following months.

Players have a few days left to get the June free game list before these disappear.
