AC Milan picked up some much needed steam after winning 5-1 over Chievo this past weekend and will to carry it over to the UCL.

The Italian side has languished all season and currently sits in tenth place with just 14 points. They are currently 14 points behind first place and 13 behind second. They have a mighty task on Tuesday of stopping the hottest team in Group C when they host Malaga. Home has not been a strong nor weak point for Milan as they have won three and lost three at home. Thus far in the UCL, they have been mediocre despite being second in the group. They drew 0-0 to Anderlecht before being gifted a 3-2 win over Zenit St. Petersburg. In that match, they blew a 2-0 lead but won on an own goal. They lost 1-0 against Malaga though to their credit they only allowed one goal. They will be desperate for a win as a draw or a loss puts them at risk of falling behind Zenit St. Petersburg, who faces a weak Anderlecht squad.

Malaga suffered a setback this weekend in the form of a 2-1 loss to Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish League. As a result they dropped to fourth place on the table. On the bright side however this team has looked cohesive all season and has a great opportunity to lock up Group C with a win over AC Milan.  Despite only scoring one goal and being outshot in that match, they controlled possession over 61 percent of the time and are far and away the better side with Isco and Joaquin leading the charge.

Prediction:  Malaga should have this one in the bag, but AC Milan will have a strong match. 2-2 draw.

Start Time: 2:45 p.m. EST
