Ronaldo's streak of consecutive goals in games for Real Madrid ended in Saturday's 4-0 thrashing of Real Zaragoza. But he needs to start a new streak as soon as possible as his team takes on one of its biggest challenges in weeks.

Borussia Dortmund stunned the world when they took down the reigning Spanish champs 2-1 in Germany and took over Group D. With another win, they clinch at least second place in the group and leave Real Madrid in a precarious situation for their final two matches. Surprisingly, this team has had relatively low success against in their domestic league as they are in fifth place with just 16 points, four wins, four ties, and two losses. The most troubling statistic is their away record where they have won once, drawn three times, and lost once. They have scored nine times on the road but have conceded eight times as well. They have scored 20 goals and allowed 11 overall, so their road defensive looks to be a major issue.

Madrid must be thrilled that they play at the Santiago Bernabeau where they have won four times and drawn once. They have scored 15 times at home and allowed just two goals. Cristiano Ronaldo leads the team with 11 goals in Spanish competition, but leads all players with 5 goals in the UCL including the game winner in the opening match, a hat trick against Ajax and the lone goal against Borussia. Gonzalo Higuain is also heating up as he has scored four goals in the last four matches for Real Madrid. The team is still missing pieces on defense, but has looked better of late on the back end.

Prediction: This one could easily win up an upset with Dortmund winning in Madrid, but Ronaldo and company should be at their best in what I think will be a 2-0 win.
