Although Hurricane Sandy shut down Rockstar Games' New York office and postponed the release of a new GTA V trailer, the developer promises that they are hard at work on rolling out the sneak peek as soon as possible.

In a statement, Rockstar writes: "We are working on a second trailer - unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon. It's hard to be precise ass we have no power whatsoever in our New York office. We hope everyone else in affected areas is doing okay."

In other GTA V news, IGN reports that GameStop, Future Shop, and Target will each offer a keychain as a pre-order bonus. Gamers who shop at GameStop will also score a double-sided poster. Pre-orders begin November 5.

Rockstar previously promised "lots of new info" in November, suggesting that there may be more than just a trailing incoming.

The developer notes that "Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean."

On the multiplayer front, Rockstar has invited fans to send in their suggestions for the game's "Crew" feature, which mimics the idea of clans. Rockstar North originally integrated the crews into Max Payne 3, and are expected to carry over to Grand Theft Auto when it launches.

GTA V is slated for a spring 2013 release on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
