Archie Panjabi's 'Good Wife' Exit Due to Julianna Margulies Feud? Season 7 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Spoilers & Rumors Here!

Season 7 of "The Good Wife" is set to launch in September 2015, and fans are already speculating what would become of Alicia Florrick.

There are rumors that Archie Panjabi, who plays Kalinda Sharma on the show, will be leaving due to the alleged rift between her and Julianna Margulies, who plays Alicia Florick. Ecumenical News reported that the two actresses are not close away from the camera and are actually involved in a feud. More rumors circulated when the final scene featured them but not together.

Panjabi said, "It was such an easy decision for me [say goodbye to Kalinda] because I had made up my mind, but when I actually left, and I listened to the reaction of the fans, I felt like I betrayed them."

US Magazine wrote that Panjabi did not deny that the final scene was filmed using body doubles.

She said when asked whether they used body doubles, ""You know, I can't answer that. It's not fair for me to answer those decisions. As much as I want to. But those decisions are made by the producers. I'm not privy to those decisions. All I do know is I'm very grateful to the Kings for making the decision to cast me."

Margulies did not release a statement regarding Panjabi's exit.

TV Guide reported that British actress Cush Jumbo was confirmed to be in the next season.

Show creator Robert King said about Jumbo, "I wouldn't say she's replacing Archie because she's irreplaceable, but we wanted someone who could fill that same interesting dynamic on the show without doing the same thing." Robert also said that it is possible that Jess Weixler might continue the work as private investigator.

Creator Michelle King added, "We're still figure out exactly [her role], but we're not suggesting that Cush will be an investigator or take on that role."

Vine Report wrote that the last events in the plot showed Peter, Alice's husband, deciding to run for the United States Vice President seat, but indicated that he will not campaign unless his whole family consents. Alicia may also run for Governor if Peter runs. Season 7 will also show whether Alicia will accept Louis Canning's offer to make her partner. Her decision will also affect her relationship with Cary Agos and Diane Lockhart. Finn will not be returning but David Hyde is set to come back in the next season.
