'The Sims 4' Luxury Party Pack Release Date, New Items, Outfits & More Here!

A new DLC has just been released for "The Sims 4." The game developer announced the pack's release on Twitter on May 20, 2015, saying, "Let's get this party started. The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff is now available."

Dubbed "Luxury Party Stuff", the latest pack features several new items like clothes and party accessories that Sims can use throughout their house, creating the perfect party atmosphere.

Master Herald reported that a preview of "Luxury Party Stuff" was provided by the game developers, which featured many new clothes, furniture, hairstyles, makeup, party accessories, bars and other items styled in a luxurious manner. Any player can add the new items to their house, regardless of their preferred theme. Overall, 52 items have recently been added in the pack, which costs $9.99.

The new features were described thoroughly in the game developer's official site:

"The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff has two awesome new gameplay objects that are essential for throwing a fantastic party. Firstly, the banquet table, which you can fill with recipes your Sims prepare themselves, or quickly stock it with new appetizers. Nobody should party on an empty stomach. The second object is the new food/drink fountain, which you can place on top of your banquet table. Streaming from the top are all sorts of delicious things to consume, including rich, decadent chocolate (perfect for strawberries) and several other delightful delicacies. There's even room for mischief and more, especially for Sims gifted in the Culinary and Mixology skills!"

Aside from the aesthetic changes, the new DLC also adjusts the gameplay. The banquet table, in particular, can be filled up with dishes made by Sims as well as appetizers. There is also a new drink fountain that can be put on top of the banquet table, with different kinds of liquid flowing from it. Carl-Sims-4-Guide wrote the list of food and drinks that players can serve at the drink fountain. Included are chocolate, fruit punch, sparkling apple juice, cheese fondue, caramel, futuristic punch and party extender punch. The buffet tables can also serve ceviche and chips, almond macaroons, sausage and peppers, vegetable tempura and roast chicken. The clothes and furniture specifically suggest a luxurious or party look. The Sims can finally host the best parties with the new pack.

The "Luxury Party Stuff" pack is actually the first "stuff pack" launched for "Sims 4", so gamers are expecting that the company will be featuring more themed packs in the future.
