"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" won't be showing in theaters until 2016, but updates of the superhero flick keep coming as if it's going to drop in the next 2 months.

Take the recent bit of news related to the movie - a new promotional artwork related to the film has been unleashed on DC Comics fans, courtesy of El Mayimbe of Heroic Hollywood, a former Latino Review staffer who had been releasing new info on the movie in the past few months.

"A couple weeks ago we got promo art of the fight scene between Superman and Batman, but this is just a statuesque image of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman," Attack of the Fanboy observed.

"You can definitely see more color in this image, with Wonder Woman having her trusty sword and shield by her side as well. Her Lasso of Truth can also be seen hanging from her waist, but we'll have to wait and see if the truth elements will be implemented in the eventual movie," the site added.

The newly-released promo art may look a little less realistic and a bit more comic book-y for some, but it's a slightly different take to Gal's look as the superheroine in the movie, giving us more ideas on how she'd probably look like in the film.

But when will they show us Steve Trevor?

Steve is the leading man of Wonder Woman and is rumored to be played by "Star Trek's" Chris Pine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Pine will play Steve Trevor, the love interest of Gadot's Wonder Woman, Diana Prince," THR said. "Warner Bros. had no comment on Pine's casting."

So, the superheroine needs her own leading man, after all?

In an interview, Gal was quoted as saying that Wonder Woman is her dream role, without her even knowing that she wanted to play the whip-wielding character.

"She has unbelievable endurance. She is exceptionally strong. She can jump really high and practically fly. She know tons of martial arts styles. She is a strong and serious Woman," she enthused, as noted by ComingSoon.

"I wanted to play a woman that is strong and will be a source for women empowerment," she went on to explain. "I don't want to play a damsel in distress that needs to be saved. I don't like it when women in the movies are shown as the victims. I always thought that if I could send out a message, I want to show the strong side of a woman and how she can handle tough situations."

Well, Gal, this is your chance to do just that!
