Hurricane Sandy left a path of destruction along the North Eastern seaboard and is now moving across Southern Pennsylvania.

The Hydrometeorological Prediction Center (HPS), which took over the advisories from the National Hurricane Center, stated that Sandy is about 120 miles east-southeast of Pittsburgh, Pa. and 145 miles west of Philadelphia, Pa.

HPC stated that Sandy continues to maintain maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and should weaken throughout the next 48 hours.

The storm is currently moving at 10 mph and is expected to move North-ward towards upstate New York after crossing Pennsylvania. It should arrive the upstate by tonight and into Canada by tomorrow.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that limited bus service for New York City will start today at 5 p.m. with full restoration expected tomorrow. Bus fees will be waived on Tuesday and Wednesday and will operate following a Sunday schedule.

Subway or commuter trains services are still shud down and will start running after further notice.

NYC taxis, livery cabs and limousines are allowed to pickup street hails, multiple fares.

For the third consecutive day, New York City schools will remain closed on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
