A popular colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is making a comeback on Saturday, May 30, 2015.

HipHopWired wrote that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Varsity Red will be returning to shelves and is expected to sell out in a matter of minutes. The shoe will be available on Nike.com and select sneaker boutiques, beginning at 10 in the morning. The sneaker will retail at $160.

Slam Online described the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG to be the one that will "end all OGs." The black, white and varsity red colorway is actually the very first colorway among all numbered Jordans. The high-top basketball shoe returns to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Jordan Brand. Nike.com will limit the sale to only one pair per customer.

Also dubbed the Air Jordan 1 "Chicago," Sneaker Bar Detroit stated that the shoe will be getting the "OG" treatment. Being a remastered version, the shoe will be made only from premium materials, similar to the original, which will make it highly durable.

Based on photos posted, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Varsity Red features a premium leather upper. The toe portion is white with perforations to provide good ventilation and is surrounded by varsity red, moving up to the shoelace holes and ankle collar. The heel cup is also made of varsity red leather. The rest of the upper is white leather while the Swoosh on both sides is black. The shoelaces are black. The tongue is white with the red and white Nike tag.

The old-style Air Jordan logo with wings is present in black against the varsity red ankle collar. The entire midsole is white while the outsole is fully varsity red, consisting of the same pattern as seen on the original model. The sock lining of the shoe is black while the insole is white with "Nike Air" printed on it.

Overall, the shoe is one of the most anticipated releases of 2015. The high-top design and ankle collar provides great support and lockdown when making quick cuts. The thick midsole and solid rubber outsole also provided excellent traction, cushioning and stability for both small and big players. Kicks on Fire wrote that Michael Jordan was first seen wearing the shoes in 1985 after he signed with Nike. The pair was released in 2013 as well, with some changes made in the upcoming version to make it as close to the original as possible.
