Floyd Mayweather believes that he has one advantage over Manny Pacquiao heading into their May 2 mega-bout.

SkySports reported that Mayweather believes that he has the psychological advantage against Pacquiao.

Mayweather said, "You can ready a guy's body language. When Pacquiao first saw me in Miami, he didn't expect to see me over there at the basketball game."

He continued, "He looked shocked, like - 'damn, he's taller than me. He's bigger than what I thought he was'. Just by being in the sport for so long, you're able to ready body language and read a fighter's eyes."

Mayweather said, "Normally when I face an opponent, they outweigh me by 17 or 20 pounds on fight nights. This has been going on for a good while now."

Mayweather actually has the advantage over Pacquiao in terms of height and reach. He is taller than Pacquiao by one and a half inches and has arms five inches longer.

The undefeated champion's statements followed his recent claim that he is better than Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson.

In an ESPN video, Mayweather said, "No one can ever brainwash me to make me believe that Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali was better than me."

He added, "but one thing I will do: I'm going to take my hat off to those guys and respect those guys because those are the guys that paved the way for me."

He said that he is better than Ali because the latter only fought in one weight class. Mayweather added, "Leon Spinks beat him when he had seven fights. They'd never put a fighter in there with Floyd Mayweather with seven fights. So are you going tell me that it's cool to lay on the ropes and take punishment and let a man tire himself out from beating you and then he basically fatigued? You hit him with a few punches and he go down and quit, and you want to be glorified for that?"

In an interview with Oscar De La Hoya about the Pacquiao and Mayweather fight, the head of Golden Boy Promotions revealed that Pacquiao was tougher to fight and also hits harder. De La Hoya told USA Today Sports that Pacquiao has the advantage over Mayweather because he is a southpaw and is very quick with his legs and punches. Mayweather, on the other hand, has the advantage of using each round efficiently, wearing down his opponents and throwing enough punches to win the round.
