We have just witnessed the official trailer of the much-awaited movie "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." Some eager fans even went to IMAX theaters just to get a glimpse of it. According to Cinema Blend, these viewers were actually lucky as additional footage had been showcased in the event.

Here are some bits of information from the exclusive Cinema Blend report:

"Zack Snyder introduced the clip, welcoming fans to the screening of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer. He was standing in an alley in broad daylight, perched in front of Bruce Wayne's military-style Batmobile, which looks incredible. After setting the scene, Snyder screened the trailer... only, with this additional bit of footage:

Right after the Batman v Superman logo, the scene returns to Superman (Henry Cavill), close up on his face. His hair is tussled, and instead of being outside in a rainstorm (as he is at the end of the trailer), he's in what looks like an abandoned warehouse. He looks up. He's staring at Batman. They both are at eye level. Batman's eyes continue to glow in that Frank Miller-inspired armor. The two titans charge at each other. The very last shot is a medium shot of the two locking arms, beginning their battle."

Anyway, here is the official trailer of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice":

To thank fans, Zack Snyder also took the time to unveil the Batman suit. You can actually check it out on Twitter.

"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aqua Man, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It is expected to hit theaters in March 2016.

Earlier, we reported that there were rumors that Snyder and his team are planning to steal the spotlight from "Star Wars."  Cinema Blend's report said citing reporter Umberto Gonzalez that "something special" would happen during the Star Wars Celebration last Thursday -- that fans would finally be able to get a glimpse of the movie. Well, it actually happened as Snyder tweeted a teaser video for the movie, with the official announcement that they would finally unveil the trailer on April 20.

Were you satisfied with the trailer of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice"? Are you excited to watch it? We still have less than a year to wait.
