Here's one more evidence that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" is truly happening: producer Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted a photo of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow tied up to a post by two pirates, with the caption, "Captain Jack is back and we're not letting him go."

This is the first official photo of the upcoming film, which had reportedly stopped shooting for about two weeks due to Johnny's hand injury, which required surgery, IGN said.

"There are roughly three more months of shooting for the Disney film, with a scheduled premiere for July 7, 2017," the site went on to say.

Johnny was recently photographed arriving in Australia Tuesday to continue filming after returning to LA on March 10 to have his hand treated, MailOnline said. He was accompanied by wife Amber Heard, who was seen sporting her wedding ring, quashing rumors that the couple had gone separate ways after 2 months of not being photographed together.

Although the sole photo shown ahead of the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" release doesn't really say much as to the plot and main storyline, it appears that Captain Jack, once again, manage to be "in enemy captivity, with no apparent means of escape" - a scenario all too familiar to "Pirates" fans, as pointed out by ScreenRant.

"Of course, knowing Sparrow, he probably has some sort of tricks up his sleeve, though the concerned look on his face would suggest otherwise," the movie news site went on to say.

"Based on the nature of Sparrow's foes in this picture (some unruly looking pirates), it'd be easy to guess that our Captain is aboard the ship of main villain Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), who is on a mission to kill all the pirates at sea," ScreenRant speculated. "With Jack seeking out the Trident of Poseidon (an artifact that gives its bearer total control over the seas) to stop Salazar, it makes sense that the two will be crossing paths a few times over the course of the film, setting the stage for encounters like the one Bruckheimer shared."

Meanwhile, Brenton Thwaites, who will be appearing in "Pirates 5" as one of the young lead characters in the film, said that although he doesn't know the entire plot of the story, he said that it's basically about "a young man who wants to reconnect with his father, Davy Jones."

"There's a curse that prevents him from doing that. I think it's about how he goes around that and tries to fix it and he has to save his dad," he added, as quoted by ScreenRant in a previous report.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," directed by Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning, will also star Kaya Scodelario, Golshifteh Farahani, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin R. McNally, and Stephen Graham.
