The Apple keynote for October is set to begin today where the iPad Mini is rumored to make its debut.

Apple sent out the invitations to their San Jose event last week on Oct. 23.

The invitation featured the tagline "We've got a little more to show you."

The tagline, although vague, could allude to the iPad Mini's "little" design compared to the standard iPad tablet.

As Latinos Post reported, the iPad Mini's specs have been very quiet leading up to today but several reports have pointed out to a November 2 release date.

According to GeekyGadgets,  "Our source, who is someone close to a major UK retailer, and has been reliable in the past, has told us that Apple will start selling the new iPad Mini on Friday the 2nd of November, the device will be available in the US And UK on this date, possibly some other countries as well."

9to5Mac also reported on the Nov. 2 release date.

But as with previous Apple Keynotes, more than one product can debut.

After months of speculation, the 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro with Retina Display is rumored to also debut today.

Unlike the iPad Mini specs, the speculated features for the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display have made the rounds. Some features are rumored to be the 2,560x1,600 pixel density display, 8GB RAM, 2.9GHz Core i7-3520M, and a cheaper price compared to the current 15-inch version's $2,199.

The Apple October 2012 Keynote is set for 1 p.m. EDT from the California Theatre in San Jose, California.

Apple is reportedly offering a live stream of the event, the first in approximately two years, click here to view.

Latinos Post will provide details of the event as soon as the event reaches its conclusion.
